Watercolors of the Gospel, a divinely-inspired collection of original works by Chief Apostle Billups which depicts the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Done in a mixed media of both water color and ink markers, its sole purpose is that God, our Creator, be glorified; that His Son Jesus, our Lord, be received; and that the Holy Ghost impart life to all who view these anointed works of art.

“Watercolors of the Gospel” has evolved over a period of twenty or more years and is an outgrowth of Chief Apostle Billups personal spiritual experience with the Lord Jesus.  In Norfolk, Virginia, in the year of 1971, Chief Apostle Billups accepted God’s call into full-time ministry.  Led by the Spirit of God to travel to Clinton, North Carolina, he simultaneously began his evangelical ministry and career as an artist.

The pictures on display below were inspired to him by the Holy Ghost, line-upon-line, with step-by-step instruction.  All compositions, lettering, and even subject matter are divinely inspired.  Nothing is contrived or pre-planned.  The Spirit of the Lord God uses Chief Apostle Billups’ hands to render works that emit the power and anointing of God and portray the glory and majesty of Jesus Christ.  Even the coloration’s have spiritual implications and serve to enhance the evangelical message of each piece.
