Everyone wants a free gift.  Banks give away a free toaster for opening an account with them.  Many business’ say, “Buy one – get one free.”  If man can do that in the natural, don’t you know God has already had a free gift for you for over 2000 years now!  God started all this by giving us the Gift of Life.  He allows all of us to wake up every morning and go about our day; even to the extent of finding this web page.  God is Good!

Even more than that, God gives us a free Gift of Eternal Life.  Genesis 2:7 states, “And Jehovah God formed the man out of dust from the ground, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”  See, God wants to take us out of our “dirty” self; out of a lifeless state of being; out of an unformed person and mold us, put His breathe into us, so we can live; not just now, but Eternally!  Like Adam, we have all sinned.  Romans 3:23, “for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  But that is not the end, God gives us a choice to get out of sin and death!

Romans 5: 8 – 11, “but God commends His love to us in this, that we being yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through Him.   For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life; and not only so, but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.

Sin entered into the world through the disobedience of one man.  Genesis 3: 17-19, “  And He said to the man, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree about which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat from it, the ground shall be cursed because of you; you shall eat of it in sorrow all the days of our life. And it shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plant of the field.  By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”  We were to live eternally until this happened.  Now death entered our lives.

Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  See the wages of sin is death, but God made a way for us to escape death with the Free Gift of Salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ!

Something free means we do not have to pay anything for it to receive it.  All we have to do is accept it!  See, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, paid the price for you! 

Now, Friend, all you have to do is claim the Gift!  How do you claim the gift?  Simply:

1) Acknowledge that you need Jesus to help you!  Romans 3:8-11 states that no one is without sin.  But we can get to a point without sin with the help of Jesus!

2) Believe that Jesus Christ came to take away our sins!  John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing upon Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

3) Confess with our mouth Jesus Christ is our Savior!  Romans 10:9-10 tells us, “Because if you confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.”

      Now, stand up, hold your hand up to God and claim your Gift of Salvation!

At this moment you can pray the most important prayer of your life by simply saying:

Dear Lord Jesus,
I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You came to earth 2,000 years ago. I believe you died for me on the cross and shed Your blood for my salvation. I believe you rose from the dead and ascended on high. I believe You are coming back again to earth. Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. Forgive my sin. Cleanse me now with Your precious blood. Come into my heart. Save my soul right now. I give you my life. I receive You now as my Savior, my Lord, and my God. I am Yours forever, and I will serve You and follow You the rest of my days. From this moment on, I belong to You only. I no longer belong to this world, nor to the enemy of my soul. I belong to You, and I am born again.
Amen!

By praying this prayer, confessing your sins, and receiving Jesus Christ into your heart, God has given you the right to become His child. The Bible gives you this assurance: "But as many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on his name" (John 1:12).
